On 10 Mar 15, the Internal Security Forces arrested Syrian national Fatima al-Khalida at the Rafic Hariri International Airport. The arrest came after the Army sent a circular to all Lebanese security services urging her detention. The Military distributed the circular in light of information that Khalida, who was traveling to Saudi Arabia, was recruited along with others by a jihadi group to carry out a suicide bombing of the Iranian Embassy in Beirut.
