BEIRUT: A Syrian teen was shot and wounded in south Lebanon in a feud over a second marriage, a source told The Daily Star.

A.M., 17, who lives in the south Lebanon town of Majdal Silem was shot in her stomach with a rifle and was taken to Tibnin governmental hospital near Tyre.

The Syrian girl is engaged to Mohamed Zahwe, who is already married to a Lebanese woman.

The wife-to-be and the first wife have repeatedly engaged in scuffles.
