ذكر ان عناصر من الدفاع المدني عملت بتاريخ 24-3-2017، عند الساعة 10:45 على نقل جثة رجل في العقد الثالث من العمر الى مستشفى البوار الحكومي، عُثِرَ عليه جثة على الشاطئ في العقيبة. وقد تمّ نقل الجثة عقب حضور الأجهزة الأمنية المختصة واتمامها الاجراءات القانونية اللازمة.

وتبيّن لاحقا ان الشاب مقتولاً في عنقه، وكان بحوزته مبلغا من المال فيما لم يعثر على اي اوراق ثبوتية تكشف هويته.
