A Syrian national was arrested for communicating with the extremist group Jabhat Fatah al-Sham – formerly known as the Nusra Front – a judicial source told The Daily Star. M.F. was arrested in the town of Deir Aames, east of Tyre. “He will be tried in military court,” the source told The Daily Star. The Lebanese Army regularly makes arrests on charges of affiliation with the group and targets its hideouts around the border town of Arsal on a near-daily basis.
