The body of 30-year-old Syrian national Mohammed Ahmed Dado was found near the secondary school of Ghazir, a security source told The Daily Star Monday. Preliminary medical examinations showed gunshot wounds to Dado’s hand and chest. The man was taken to the nearby Al-Buwar Government Hospital for further investigation by forensics specialist Dr. Hussein Shahrour.
“After viewing the [CCTV] cameras located where the murder happened, it became apparent that a Hyundai car fired on this man and directly left,” the source told The Daily Star. The car’s license plate is known and an ISF investigation is ongoing.
