أفاد مندوب "الوكالة الوطنية للاعلام" في جونيه جورج كرم أنه تم العثور على السوري ح.أ مواليد عام 1982 جثة داخل سيارة رباعية الدفع سوداء اللون من نوع gmc envoy مصابا بطلق ناري، عند مستديرة طبرجا باتجاه كازينو لبنان.

وتبين أن دورية من مديرية المخابرات في الجيش كانت تطارد سيارة gmc من جبيل للقبض على مطلوب سوري بتهمة تهريب أشخاص سوريين من سوريا إلى لبنان، فحصل تبادل لإطلاق النار بين الدورية والمطلوب عند مفرق مستيتا في جبيل، واستطاع الهرب بإتجاه طبرجا ،والى جانبه مواطنه السوري الذي وجد جثة داخل السيارة، وحضرت إلى المكان القوى الأمنية وبوشرت التحريات للقبض على السوري الفار
