A van with ten Syrians and three Lebanese on board entered at 1:00 am through illegal paths in the town of Ain Ata - Rashayya and refused to comply with the orders of elements on duty at a military checkpoint which prompted them to shoot at the Van.
The shots killed one of the Syrians (Sami Salah Rajab) and injured two other passengers. The rest were all arrested.
It is to note that the Van driver is Lebanese from Rafid village and he was also taken into custody. The Syrian arrestees also carried weapons.
