A father found his 12-year-old boy hanged inside a room at a north Lebanon school where he teaches Monday, a security source told The Daily Star. The boy, identified as Syrian Mohammad Abdel Kader Ramadan, was discovered hanging by a belt at Al-Hikma Sharqiya Majaniya School in the village of Talhamira. The source said investigators have ruled out suicide because the belt was tied to a bar in a room that would have been too high for the child to reach.
