فادت المديرية العامة لقوى الامن الداخلي بأن قطعت بعض النساء طريق المطار بالإطارات المشتعلة وبلوكات بلاستيكية للمطالبة بالعفو العام عن الموقوفين، ونتيجة الاستقصاءات والتحريات التي قامت بها فصيلة درك المريجة في وحدة الدرك الإقليمي، تمكنت من معرفة هوية الشخص الذي أضرم النار، هو ن. ح. من مواليد عام 1992، سوري الجنسية وأوقفته دورية من الفصيلة في محلة طريق المطار بالقرب من مقهى المولى وبالتحقيق معه اعترف بإحضار مادة البنزين وإضرام النار بالإطارات واشعالها في وسط الشارع وقطع الطريق على المارة
