Footage was released Monday July 2 of a doctor in a Baalbeck hospital being beaten and attacked by a patient and the patient’s brother. A security source told The Daily Star that Dr. Hadi Sakr was speaking to a patient when he reportedly asked him to pay his hospital bill. The security footage shows the man punching the doctor, with another man then storming in and joining the assault. The Health Ministry condemned the attack and called for the perpetrators to be held accountable. The National News Agency reported that two men were arrested Monday in connection with the incident.
