The General Directorate of State Security arrested a man in Mhamara for reportedly belonging to a terrorist group led by an individual named Khaled Heblos, the state-run National News Agency reported.

A Lebanese national identified as Th.A. was accused of creating another armed terrorist group in Mhamara with the help of Heblos, who had met with him numerous times in Bhenin. Heblos asked Th.A. to block the road leading to Mhamara, after an armed confrontation took place between his group and members of the Lebanese Army near Green Lebanon Bakery.
