The Lebanese Army Intelligence Branch shot at the car of a suspected drug dealer, resulting in his death, a statement from the Army said Monday. An Army Intelligence patrol chased a car in Dbayeh and requested the driver to pull over. When he did not comply, the patrol shot at the car, causing the driver to crash into another car and a military vehicle. The driver, identified as Aa.J.Kh., was then taken to a hospital and died as a result of his injuries. A Syrian woman who was in the car with Aa.J.Kh. was arrested, the statement said. The suspect’s car allegedly contained a load of drugs and a sum of money.
