 A suspect with seven arrest warrants for fraud and theft has been arrested, later admitting to scamming people out of $100,000.

A Lebanese national identified as A.N., born in 1980, was arrested at 1 a.m. in Beirut’s Moseitbeh area.

A.N. allegedly admitted to conning over 10 victims out of a total of $100,000, by claiming he would provide property or residence to foreign workers in Lebanon for large sums of money.

An investigations was launched under the supervision of the judiciary.
