While the Army members were carrying a raid on his house, the wanted fugitive Mohammad Hamzeh tossed two grenades at them causing the injury of seven servicemen, among them two officers, a communiqué issued by Army Command- Guidance Directorate said on Saturday.
The communiqué mentioned that the wanted fugitive then blew himself up causing the death of two of his relatives and the injury of others, explaining that the fugitive was wanted over the crime of firing at two Army patrols in Tripoli as well as participating with other armed persons in opening fire at an Army checkpoint in Al-Baddawi region in Tripoli and killing one of the servicemen.
