A woman suspected of stealing $100,000 worth of jewelry was arrested by the Internal Security Forces.
 
A jewelry store near Jounieh was robbed on the 4th of September, when two women believed to be in their fifties entered the shop. The owner reported the incident to the Jounieh police and said she estimated the value of the stolen jewelry to be $100,000.
 
The statement said that in less than 48 hours, the ISF Information Division was able to identify one of the suspects, identified as A.A, and arrested her in the neighborhood of Al Rassieh in the Bekaa Valley’s Zahle. Police searched the suspect's house where they reportedly found 314, 18-carat gold chains.
