The ISF has arrested a man suspected of defrauding people seeking to purchase furniture from him. The man, identified as D.Z., a Syrian national born in 1989, had a Facebook page advertising “cheap” furniture. When customers met with him to make a purchase, he would take their money and “disappear” without supplying the product, the statement said. The ISF arrested D.Z. Friday, and he was found in possession of several receipts for pieces of furniture, copies of which he had given to customers. He reportedly admitted to the crime and was referred to the judiciary.
