The General Directorate of State Security issued a statement on an arrest operation in Qobayyat - Akkar against members of a network that smuggled people from Lebanon to Germany via Syrian territory, in exchange for large sums of money. Arrest warrants have also been issued against other smugglers located outside Lebanese territory.
