The General Directorate of State Security arrested a Syrian residing in the town of Bar Elias - Zahle, after receiving information about his association with a terrorist organization.

During his interrogation, he admitted to what he was accused of, mainly that he belonged to the Abu Walid group before he joined the Nusra front and fought alongside it. He then entered the town of Arsal illegally and later moved to al-Awda camp in the town of Bar Elias.

The arrestee was referred by the Bekaa intelligence branch to the competent court.
