State Security arrested a suspect on charges of accepting bribes and offering fraudulent promises in exchange for money, according to the state-run National News Agency. The suspect, M.K., allegedly promised he could secure the release of detainees from security forces in exchange for large sums of money. A military weapon found in M.K.’s possession was confiscated during the arrest. The suspect was referred to the judiciary for further investigation.
