State Security arrested two Palestinians on suspicion of being affiliated with a terrorist organization. The suspects, identified as Mohammad M. and Wassim G., were arrested in the Chouf town of Joun.
 
They admitted to belonging to a militia run by hard-line militant Abed Foddah, active in the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh. They also admitted to being involved in recent clashes in the camp as weapons traffickers.
 
The authorities also disclosed their involvement in the arms trade and their possession of large quantities of weapons and ammunition, which had been concealed in several places inside the camp.
