State Security Thursday announced the arrest of a suspected drug trafficker in Kesrouan.

The suspect, identified as Lebanese national Y.N., was arrested in the Aramoun area. Security forces reportedly found a quantity of hashish and marijuana in his car.

While searching his house in the Aley region, security forces found forged civil registry records and licenses, which he later reportedly admitted he had used in an effort to hide his previous conviction for a drug offense.

The suspect was referred to the judiciary.
