Dozens of Baabda residents Saturday staged a protest outside the municipality building, southeast of Beirut, to denounce an assault a day before on five employees.

Hazmieh municipal police Friday beat up Baabda-Louaizeh municipal employees outside Al-Futtaim Group's City Center mall, as the latter were attempting to hang a placard calling on residents who live within their municipal area to pay their annual fees.

The area where the employees were hanging the poster lies within the scale of Baabda municipality, not Hazmieh.
