South Lebanon police arrest teen in Nabatieh over celebratory gunfire

After police made a score of arrests for celebratory gunfire following last week’s Grade 9 Brevet exam, South Lebanon Police arrested a suspect in Nabatieh district suspected of shooting in the air, state media reported.

A unit from Jbaa police station apprehended a Lebanese teen, identified by the initials H. Gh., from the nearby town of Roumin, for firing in the air to celebrate his sister having passed her school exams, the state-run National News Agency said.
