The son of a top Hezbollah official died in a car crash Sunday, while his wife and two children were left injured.
Mohammad Baqer Yazbek, son of Hezbollah Shariah Council Head Sheikh Mohammad Yazbek, was killed after his car sidetracked off the road and went crashing into an electric utility pole in Ghazieh near Sidon, south Lebanon.
Yazbek, his wife Ghadir Mortada, an Al-Manar TV presenter, and his daughters Hajar and Mariam, 11 and 8 years old respectively, were all admitted to the Rai Hospital in Sidon. Yazbek was later announced dead, while his wife suffered heavy concussions to the head.
