On 21 Jun 16, the son of a former MP was arrested for involvement in violence at a gas station east of Beirut following an argument with a Saudi prince. The prince approached him and hit him, instigating a scuffle between them. Shortly after, the Lebanese national called three gunmen who arrived at the gas station and opened fire, causing material damage and wounding the owner, in the leg. He was later arrested in the nearby town of Mansourieh by police intelligence, who are currently pursuing the three other gunmen who the gas owner station said he knew.
