Smugglers arrested with Syrian nationals in Western Bekaa

 Two human smugglers and 163 smuggled Syrian nationals were arrested Friday in Suweiri, Western Bekaa, according to a statement by the Internal Security Forces.

The smugglers, identified as F.Aa., age 19, and M.S., age 31, are both Syrian nationals. An empty gun magazine was found among the possessions of the former. The smuggled group consisted of 86 men, 40 women and 37 children; all were charged with illegal entry. The detainees were referred to the relevant authorities and an investigation is ongoing under the supervision of relevant judiciary
