On 17 Mar 2017, a meeting was held at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Tripoli and North Lebanon, where the conferees expressed rejection to the taxes imposed by the parliament and that will increase the burden on the citizens. They also decided to continue the movements started on Thursday and to stage a sit-in in al-Tal Square in the participation of civil society groups and the unions.
