عتصم مئات الأشخاص أمام مبنى الإسكوا، تنديدا بقرار الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، وتأكيداً على عروبة القدس.
يُذكر أنّ الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب أعلن أنّه "بعد تأجيل دام لأكثر من 20 عاماً، قرّرت أنّه آن الاوان للإعتراف رسميّاً بالقدس عاصمة لاسرائيل"، مشيراً إلى أنّ "إسرائيل لديها الحقّ بتحديد عاصمتها والإعتراف بأنّ هذا أمر واقع وشرط لتحقيق السلام". ولفت إلى أنّ "بناء على القانون الّذي أقرّه الكونغرس، أطلب من وزارة الخارجية البدء بنقل السفارة الأميركية من تل أبيب إلى القدس"، مشدّداً على أنّ "القرار لا يهدف بأي شكل إلى الإبتعاد عن الإلتزام الكامل باتفاق سلام مستدام، والولايات المتحدة الأميركية ملتزمة بالتوسّط لتحقيق اتفاق سلام يصبّ بمصلحة الإسرائيليين والفلسطينيين".
