Employees at the Sidon Government Hospitalcalled for timely payment of their delayed wages, the state-run National News Agency reported.
“If the administration fails to respond and pay us, we will continue this protest tomorrow morning until our rights are given,” a statement from the hospital’s staff read.
Monday’s protest was the latest development in the long-running issue of unpaid wages. In May, hospital employees protested against what they said was the Health Ministry’s false promises of payment.
