Lebanese Army Intelligence arrested a man suspected of shooting at a lawyer’s office for "personal reasons," an army statement said Thursday.

Samer Bilal Taleb was arrested Tuesday in the Beirut area of Mathaf for firing at attorney Wadah Hanna al-Shaer’s office. The Army did not find any political, sectarian or security motives behind the attack, the statement clarified.Taleb has been referred to the judiciary. It is unclear whether the office was vacant when the incident occurred.

The Army is searching for a suspected accomplice who was reportedly with Taleb during the shooting.
