A clash between residents of the Nabatieh town of Sir al-Gharbiyeh and a number of Syrian refugees has left several people wounded from both sides. The violence erupted after a verbal dispute between a Syrian national and young men from the town. It escalated into a fistfight involving sharp objects. A group of young men then gathered and attacked the Syrians, blocking the public road that links Sir al-Gharbiyeh to the town of al-Qusaibeh. Patrols from the army and the Internal Security Forces eventually arrived on the scene and reopened the road, arresting a number of those involved in the clash, the agency added.

This security incident was mapped according to the closest possible location.
