Security forces arrested a four-member gang in the West Bekaa Valley suspected of smuggling foreigners into Lebanon through crossings on the Syria-Lebanese border. The group, composed of one Lebanese national and three Syrian nationals, was also charged with forging Syrian drivers licenses, the state-run National News Agency reported. During questioning, the three Syrians allegedly admitted to receiving money in exchange for smuggling people into the country.
