The office of a Sidon mukhtar was found looted Monday in the southern city’s Baasiri area, in the second such incident in three days.

Mukhtar Salim Abboud’s office and a shop belonging to him were both raided overnight Sunday. The two establishments were left in a state of disarray while a number of items were stolen.

The incident comes just days after the office of another Sidon mukhtar, Ahmed Habli, was robbed in the city’s Maksar al-Abed area.
