عند حوالي الساعة الرابعة والنصف فجر اليوم، أقدم ثلاث شبان يستقلّون سيارة رباعية الدفع على خلع الأبواب الحديدية لمحلات أمهز للخلوي في حي مار جرجس في بعلبك، وسرقوا الخزنة وتشريجات هاتف وأجهزة هواتف. الخزنة تحوي مبلغ 45 ألف دولار أميركي و25 مليون ليرة لبنانية و10 ليرات ذهب سلاسل، وقيمة التشريجات قُدّرت بـ173 ألف دولار أميركي، و35 ألف دولار قيمة الهواتف، وفرّوا إلى جهة مجهولة.
الأدلة الجنائية حضرت إلى المكان ورفعت البصمات وأجرت تحقيقاً بالحادث.
