علنت المديرية العامة لقوى الامن الداخلي، في بيان أنه " بتاريخ 6/9/2018، ادعى (م. م.، مواليد 1991، سوري) بانه تعرض لعملية سلب سيارته المستأجرة نوع "هيونداي GRand I10" في محيط نفق نهر الكلب، من قبل مجهولين انتحلوا صفة امنية وبحوزتهم مسدسات حربية، وفروا بها الى جهة مجهولة"، مشيرة الى أن "شعبة المعلومات في قوى الامن، باشرت اجراءاتها الميدانية فتبين لها وجود تناقض في افادة المدعي".
