The Jezzine police station is investigating a home burglary in which thousands of dollars worth of cash and jewelry were stolen, the state-run National News Agency reported Thursday. The homeowner, who was identified as Y.Aa., reported to police that unidentified assailants broke into his house in the town of Araya and stole $15,000 worth of jewelry, $7,000 in cash, and a gun, as well as LL7 million ($4,638) in cash that he said belonged to one of his employees.
