أفادت معلومات قناة الـ"OTV"، بـ"توقيف القيادي السابق في "حزب التوحيد العربي" رشيد جنبلاط بموجب مذكرة التوقيف الغيابية الصادرة بحقّهـ بسبب كيله الشتائم والكلمات النابية على مواقع التواصل الإجتماعي".
وكانت قد أعلنت اللجنة المركزية للإعلام في "التيار الوطني الحر"، في حزيران الماضي في بيان، أنّ "القاضي المنفرد الجزائي في بعبدا كارما حسيكي أصدرت حكمًا قضى بحبس المدعو رشيد جنبلاط ستة أشهر وإلزامه بدفع مبلغ عشرة ملايين ليرة كعطل وضرر، على خلفية تعرّضه لوزير الخارجية في حكومة تصريف الأعمال جبران باسيل بالقدح والذم والتحقير على وسائل التواصل الإجتماعي، وذلك بناء لشكوى تقدّم بها المحامي ماجد بويز بوكالته عن باسيل".
