Early February 1983: The PSP and the Syrian Army fired artillery shells and Grad rockets on several Christian residential neighborhoods in East Beirut (Ashrafieh, Badaro, Palace of Justice, and General Directorate of General Security headquarters, Dora, Bouchrieh, and Zalka), wounding 37 civilians and killing two General Security guards.
