Thousands of residents also gathered in the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian camp near the southern city of Sidon.

A brief protest also took place outside the Al-Amin mosque in Downtown Beirut after Friday prayers, with tens of worshipers gathering and chanting for just under an hour against the actions of Israel.
