Dozens of protesters in Beirut marched Thursday from the Social Affairs Ministry to the Justice Palace in solidarity with two activists detained one day earlier over an attack on a minister's car. The demonstrators demanded the immediate release of Tarek al-Mallah and Firas Bou Zeineddine who were detained after allegedly participating in an attack on Social Affairs Minister Rachid Derbas’ car during an anti-trash protest earlier this week.
