ينظم أصحاب الحافلات ونقابة سائقي السيارات العموميةفي لبنان في هذه الأثناء اعتصاما تحت جسر الدورة رفضا للعمالة السورية، ومطالبين بسحب رخص القيادة منهم.

وشددوا في بيان على أن "رحلتنا بدأت ولن تتوقف حتى ينزل السائق السوري وسترون أن هذا المطلب سيعم كل لبنان من البارد الى الوزاني أصواتنا ستضج مضاجعهم ونحن أكيدين أن الشعب بدأ يعي خطورة هذه الامور تذكروا فالذي لا يتذكر التاريخ لا مستقبل له، عندما بدأوا يتطاولون على عمالنا وشعبنا بدأت الحرب ونحن نحذر لأن النار نتحت الرماد فأعملوا على اطفائها واستجيبوا لمطلبنا وهو بسيط جدا. انزلوا السائق السوري عن المقود ولن نقبل التنازل قيد أنملة عن هذا المطلب لأننا أصبحنا في عداد الاموات".
