On September 24th, dozens gathered  in Downtown Beirut to demand government action over missing photojournalist Samir Kassab.
 
Protestors including family, friends, the head of Lebanon’s Press Syndicate and others held signs calling for Kassab’s swift release, asking the government to intervene on his behalf and lamenting their 4-year wait for information on his case.
 
Kassab was kidnapped in October 2013 along with his Mauritanian Sky News Arabia colleagues Ishak Moctar and a Syrian driver while on assignment near the Syrian city of Aleppo.
