أفاد مراسل "النشرة" في البقاع أن "بعض أهالي بيت شاما البقاعية والحراك المدني نفذوا اعتصاماً على طريق عام بيت شاما بعلبك احتجاجا على الحُفر في الطرقات، ورفعوا المعتصمون شعارات ولافتات "بدنا نحاسب"، كما انضم اليهم وزير الاشغال العامة والنقل غازي زعيتر".
واكد زعتير على "حقوق المواطنين بالسير على الطرقات بسلامة"، مشيراً الى أن "هذا الحراك هو حراك مطلبي حق"، عازياً سبب تأخير تعبيد الطريق الى "الحفريات التابعة للكهرباء ومياه الشفة"، حيث وعد بتوجيهات من رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري "بالعمل الجاد على رفع الحرمان من هذه القرى".
