Beirut police recaptured six fugitives who fled from the holding cells at a Beirut police station. On July 25, the six prisoners jumped from the Al-Nahr police station, in the Gemmayzeh neighborhood, onto the roof of an adjacent building. The ISF’s Information Branch successfully arrested the fugitives in different locations in Beirut and on various dates. The last fugitive, identified as Syrian national, was returned to police custody. He was described as the “mastermind” of the prison escape.
