On 02 Aug 16, the Internal Security Forces announced that at least $7 million worth of Captagon pills were seized from a Beirut suburb one day earlier. In a statement, police said that around 700,000 pills, weighing 140 kilograms and worth between $7 million and $14 million, were confiscated in the bust.
