Police Friday detained a 24-year-old drug dealer in east Lebanon, an Internal Security Forces statement said.

The ISF reported that Aa.Q. was detained at Riyaq checkpoint in the eastern city of Zahle.

Policemen seized 200 grams of hashish, three bags of captagon that contained around 600 pills, a quantity of cocaine and other kinds of narcotics, which were found in his possession – in addition to seven fake LL100,000 banknotes.

The suspect is has several warrants out for his arrest, and has been taken to the Riyaq police station for further questioning.
