During raids on a coffee shop in Aley's Aramoun area, police arrested a group of Lebanese and Syrian nationals involved in drugs and prostitution, the Internal Security Forces Directorate said..
ISF said it monitored and raided the coffee shop after obtaining information of "illegal acts" taking place inside.
Police raided the destination and confiscating drug pills, cannabis and birth control pills.
Two Lebanese, one the cafe owner, were arrested on charges of facilitating prostitution and drug trafficking. Seven Syrian females and 19 males were also apprehended for the same charges in addition to some who have illegally infiltrated Lebanese soil.
Three of the suspects are wanted on theft arrest warrants, added ISF.
