Police managed to arrest suspects on drugs-related charges, the Internal Security Forces announced.

Two suspects identified as 24-year-old H.Y. and 26-year-old M.Kh. were arrested in Tahwitat al-Ghadir in Beirut's southern suburbs. They are also suspected of theft.

Police seized in their possession 118g of base cocaine, 118g of cocaine, 94g of hashish and 16g of a dark, unknown substance, which police are currently investigating.

The statement said that the quantity of drugs were all packed in bags to be sold.

Police also confiscated three knives, two black balaclavas, and little plastic containers that are used to sell the drugs.

The ISF also found out that the two have a criminal history, ranging from selling drugs, to armed robbery and violence.
