Lebanese Marcelino Zamata, born 1982, died this evening after two men on their motorcycles stabbed him at Sassine square in Ashrafieh, National News Agency correspondent reported on Tuesday. In details, Marcelino was with his fiancée when one of the riders stabbed him several times with his knife, following a verbal dispute. Beirut police soon reached the scene and managed to apprehend the bikers; but Marcelino died of his wounds as soon as he arribed to a nearby hospital.
