On 20 Dec 16, Police arrested two suspects on robbery charges after an armed pursuit south of Beirut. The suspects were identified by a pickpocketing victim in the area, who pressed charges against them. During interrogation, the two men presumably admitted to tens of armed robberies in the capital. Police are currently looking for the suspects’ accomplices.
